Gods of the pipette: BMC boat gives its all

Teams from the two Munich universities competed in the dragon boat race on the Olympic Lake on July 21 - and it wasn't just about speed.
At the 12th dragon boat race of LMU and TUM, 23 boats paddled in a colorful spectacle for the title "Master of the Olympic Lake". The BMC also sent a team again and the "Gods of the pipette" gave everything - not only on the water. With subway construction sites, pouring rain and thunderstorm the challenges for the team began on the way to the Olympic Park already. However, the participants did not let the rainy weather spoil their mood, the weather-related breaks were simply danced away in the Theatron - thanks to the DJ.
On the water, others were ahead, but with a giant pipette as mascot, lab god-like costumes and “Believer” by Imagine Dragons as team song, the "Gods of the pipette" were in the top group in the competition for the most original team. The victory for the fastest boat this year went to the defending champions, the team "LMUhu - we stick on place 1" of the LMU Medical Student Council.
