Teaching
The Biomedical Center provides optimal premises for modern approaches to the preclinical phase of medical education. It includes 27 seminar rooms and several elaborately equipped laboratories for practical courses. The Biomedical Center also contains LMU’s largest auditorium, with a capacity for up to 950 people, while a second lecture hall can accomodate an audience of 300. On average, about 1200 medical students (in peak periods roughly 2000) will receive their basic medical training here.
