We are interested in retinal plasticity in the healthy, diseased and rescued retina. Our studies range from investigating mouse models for retinal neurodegenerative diseases to identifying mechanisms that lead to changes in the neural circuitry and rescuing vision through gene based treatments. We strive to understand retinal remodeling and to develop a critical knowledge for designing vision rescue strategies. Read more...
