Introducing the new BMC Trailblazer Lecture Series

Trailblazer_LogoThe BMC invites the Munich Life Sciences community to the virtual kick-off of its new “Trailblazer Lecture” series. In this series, we invite world renowned scientists who are true pioneers in their field of research. Professor Anthony Hyman from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden will kick things off on 7 December.

The Hyman lab studies how biomolecular condensation of macromolecules (also known as ‘phase separation’) leads to the formation of membrane-less compartments in cells, effectively separating and localizing specific functions.

Prof. Hyman's Trailblazer Lecture, entitled “Biomolecular condensates and their implications for physiology and disease” will take place virtually via Zoom on December 7 at 11 am. Co-organized by the BMC and the SyNergy Cluster, the lecture is open to all in the Munich life science community. Access information will be sent via mailing lists. Please send inquiries about the event to hklinker@bmc.med.lmu.de
