Open Day at the LMU
On the annual Open day of the Ludwig Maximilians University future students are invited to gather some information on the different faculties and study opportunities. This year the Biomedical Center Munich (BMC) opened its doors for the first time to participate at the program of the Medical Faculty.
About 120 interested people came to the BMC to took part at a guided tour through the BMC building, laboratory tours or some physiological experiments. While the architecture and the development of the BMC were the focus of general tour, the laboratory visits gave insights into current biomedical research at the BMC. Physiology experiments in acoustics, optics and electroencephalography (EEG) were open to interested pupils as well.
