An honour at the European level
Prof. Axel Imhof, BMC- Board Member and head of the Core Facility Protein Analytics, was elected a member of the scientific organisation EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organisation). EMBO promotes research in life science. New members are appointed based on their excellent scientific achievements. Prof. Imhof studies chromatin modifications with the help of the model system Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly).
