St. Nicholas @ BMC

On December 6, at long last after a two-year break due to the pandemic, the BMC once again celebrated with a Christmas Market. Lured by the scent of mulled wine and waffles, the BMC people mingled around festively decorated stations in the inner yard. All kinds of delicacies, from savory cream pies to Turkish lentil soup and sweet pastries, tided us over until the much-anticipated visit of St. Nicholas, who brought his horned companion, the Krampus. For the children, the two had small gifts in their gunnysack, for the adults surprising and pointed insights into everyday life at the BMC. The evening came to a warmhearted close with a gathering around the bonfire.

A big thank-you to all helpers!
