Solidarity and support for scientists

BMC-based Collaborative Research Centers offer support to scientists displaced by the war in Ukraine.

The three Collaborative Research Centers located at the BMC offer a variety of support services to scientists who are experiencing hardship as a result of the war in Ukraine and are seeking help in Germany. Individual packages are put together for all career stages, ranging from the provision of contacts, internships and training to financial aid with short-term scholarships and fellowships for doctoral students and postdocs. In this way, students and researchers are given the opportunity to augment their academic training and work.

Short-term financial support for Ukrainian students and scholars at LMU affected by the war is provided by LMU's dynamic support fund.

The solidarity of the BMC community is extended to all scientists, students and colleagues, regardless of nationality, suffering from the war in Ukraine. We stand together for a peaceful future and the freedom of expression, arts and sciences.
