Interview with Magdalena Götz
In January 2016, Prof. Dr. Magdalena Götz, head of the Institute of Stem Cell Research at the Helmholtz Zentrum München and of the Department of Physiological Genomics at the Biomedical Center, gave an interview to Nina Ruge in the interview series alpha Forum on ARD-alpha. She talked about the groundbreaking discoveries she made as a young researcher that revolutionized the view on nerve cell regeneration in the brain, the opposition she had to face by some colleagues in the field, her further career steps and current research interests as well as her view on Munich as science hub and her hobby, botany, as source of recreation and inspiration.
