Library - Biology & Biomedical Sciences
The specialized Library for Biology and Biomedical Sciences provides students and researchers in the Biomedical Center (BMC) with specialized literature. This extensive library resource is divided into two collections, the textbook collection and the open-access collection. The textbook collection is located in the BMC (Faculty of Medicine, Großhaderner Str. 9) and primarily provides scholarly textbooks that can be checked-out with campus library cards. The open-access library is located in the Biocenter (Faculty of Biology, Großhaderner Str. 4) and offers scientific literature, references and journals for in-library use or extramural loan to academics affiliated with the LMU Munich.
